The
Summer Youth Program takes place
in Kitchener (100 km west of
Toronto) at a modern
private school, fully equipped with
sport fields, an indoor gym and
spacious
classrooms.
An
action-packed learning experience for children
and youth, the program offers an
exciting
mix of English language learning
with a variety
of activities. You will benefit
from G.A.T.E.'s "global issues"
curriculum where you look at
interesting world topics such as the environment,
technology and leadership. This means
you learn English while learning about
being a world
citizen.
The program is open to youth between the ages of
9 and 17.
The
Program offers:
16 hours of ESL instruction per week
Classes organized according to language level,
limited to 16 students
1 full-day excursion per week,
1 off-campus activity and 3 on-campus activities
per week
1 evening activity per week
Full accommodation and meals with a
Canadian host family
A certificate upon completion of the course
One overnight excursion to a northern, rustic lodge
(for students staying for at least 3 weeks)

Medical insurance is mandatory for all participants of the youth programs. Participants may choose to purchase insurance independently or through
us ($ 70) before arriving in
Canada.
